In addition to the many science documentaries and news programs in which he has appeared, Dr. Broughton frequently serves as a consultant for other similar programs. He brings a balance of healthy skepticism and scientific respect for the still-unexplained phenomena of the human mind to serious treatments of parapsychology. Legal and law enforcement

Although parapsychological and “psychic” issues do not often appear in the courts, Dr. Broughton has assisted attorneys in a number of criminal and civil cases.
